Work of Egyptian expressionist artist Hala El Sharouny was displayed at “Silk Road Art Collection Exhibition” in Jingdezhen Tao Bo City International Convention and Exhibition Center, Jingdzhen, China 2023

Hala Sharouny graduated from Helwan University in 2004 and holds a Masters degree in painting. Her work is characterized by its dynamic, playful techniques. Her palette is diverse, colorful and vibrant. Her artwork addresses contemporary social issues like women and society with a twist of humor.

Through her paintings, Hala wants to create a poetical report of Egyptian society’s change during the last few years by images. She certainly wants to talk about women and their efforts to gain more rights. Her women are confident, dreamy, liberated, rebellious, breaking stereotypes and social taboos, and comfortable in their environment.

Working now as a Professional freelance artist, her work has been locally and internationally exhibited. She  also participated in many workshops and general exhibitions inside and outside of Egypt (Cairo , Alexandria , Sharm El Sheikh, Suhag , Vienna , Tunisia , Gaza, Khan Youniss, Istanbul , Fethiye , Vierzon , Kuwait ).She was invited by the Chinese Minster of Culture to to represent Egypt’s female artists  in a workshop called the insight of China , along with several artists from other Arab artists.

During the months of September – October 2019, she participated in art workshops and exhibitions in  Hong Kong, Macao & Shenzhen, 

Her last solo exhibition was held at Mashrabia gallery in March 2020.
