Sharm El-Sheikh International Theatre Festival for Youth (SITFY) released the poster of its eighth edition, which will run between November 25-30, 2023.

Designed by director Hesham Ali, the poster highlights the theater’s red curtain, with the number eight – representing the eighth edition. Ali explained he used a spotlight to mimic its shape, creating contrasts between light and shadow.

Furthermore, he pointed out that he inserted some theatrical elements in the poster, such as: red curtain, stage lighting and spotlight.

Founded and chaired by Magen El-Gharabawy, SITFY is the first theater festival to be organized in Sinai.

Veteran actors Samiha Ayoub and Mohamed Sobhy are the honorary president and president of SITFY’s higher committee, respectively; with Dr. Engy El-Bestawy as its managing director of SITFY.
