Dr. Yasmine Fouad

Under the auspices of Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, the national campaign “No to Plastic” is scheduled to kick off during the last week of July 2023.

“No to Plastic” campaign will be launched on social media platforms to raise awareness about the dangers of using plastic, emphasize the importance of limiting the use of plastic, and to promote alternatives to single-use plastic products.

During the duration of the campaign, a number of cleaning initiatives will also be launched in several governorates, in addition to campaigns to clean the beaches. Moreover, awareness activities in schools, universities and youth centers, will occur with the purpose of preserving the environment, and the people.
