Nada El Gazzar graduated in 2006 with a major in Business Administration from the Faculty of Commerce. She earned her Executive Master’s degree with distinction from Swiss Business School.

Attending the German School in Alexandria shaped her inclusive and culturally aware outlook, which she credits for her success in both career and personal life. Growing up among peers from diverse cultures taught her tolerance, respect, and love, while learning German and experiencing a bilingual education system improved her linguistic skills and facilitated connections with German-speaking communities in Egypt and abroad.

She spent five years working in the petroleum sector before relocating to Dubai 17 years ago.

In Dubai, she spent sixteen years working as an Excellence Expert in various sectors, including Oil & Gas, Education, Transportation, and Electricity & Water, within reputable semi-government and government entities in the UAE.

An Excellence Advisor, with extensive experience in Quality and Excellence, offers guidance, tools, and strategies to individuals and organizations striving for excellence and best practices in their work.

In April 2023, she established UpskillX Advisory & Coaching, offering advisory and coaching services to both organizations and individuals.

Motivated by her passion and dedication, for empowering individuals and organizations to achieve excellence and fulfil their utmost potential, she on

founded UpskillX Advisory & Coaching. With over 16 years of experience in quality and excellence, she recognized a need for customized advisory and coaching services tailored to various groups: Corporates, Women, Youth, and the Purposeful Community. Her goal is to foster growth and development across these pillars by equipping individuals and organizations with the tools, strategies, and support necessary for success.

Like any new business, Nada faced initial challenges when starting out. Adapting to the specific needs of different client segments — corporates, women, youth, and community — was essential. Meeting these diverse needs demanded flexibility and continuous learning.

However, her 16 years of experience in the Dubai market were pivotal in driving her business’s success. Her extensive experience enabled her to navigate the market effectively and establish a strong presence.

Receiving recognition from high-profile clients and forming strategic partnerships with other businesses and organizations were instrumental in amplifying their reach and impact.

Active participation in community business initiatives and support for local causes helped solidify their reputation as a purpose-driven business.

Additionally, receiving international awards and collaborating with educational institutions, corporate entities, and community organizations further expanded their influence and credibility.

The workshops and coaching sessions offered at UpskillX cover a wide range of topics designed to enriching personal and professional growth within the company’s four primary pillars: Corporates, Women, Youth, and Purposeful Community Building.

Nada was recognized as one of the Top 100 Women Leaders across Asia. “This accolade served as a powerful validation of the work I have been doing in the fields of business excellence, coaching, and community building for the last 17 years. It motivates me to continue striving for excellence and making a positive impact.”

Nada co-authored the book “My Africa My Identity” with 17 other women of African origin. This unique experience “ brought a sense of camaraderie and mutual respect. We shared our unique success stories, experiences, and perspectives, creating a powerful tapestry of African identity and womanhood. This collaboration fostered deep connections and friendships,” Nada said.

A wife and a mother of two daughters, aged 16 and 12, Nada juggles many responsibilities. But she has been able to balance her roles as an entrepreneur, business owner, with her personal life and family. “Establishing clear boundaries between work and personal life is crucial,” she explained. “I designate specific times for work and make sure to disconnect during family time. This helps create a healthy separation and prevents burnout. Prioritizing self-care is vital for maintaining balance. I make time for activities that rejuvenate me, such as exercise, and hobbies. This ensures that I stay physically and mentally fit to handle various responsibilities.”

Nada is an early riser. A typical working day starts with some personal reflection and planning. “I also have coaching sessions scheduled throughout the day. I do prioritize ongoing learning and development, so part of my day often involves reading, attending webinars, or engaging in professional development activities to stay updated in my field.”

After a long busy day, Nada enjoys going for a walk. “Physical activity helps me clear my mind and release any tension from the day. I also love reading books, especially personal development literature as it helps me escape into different worlds or gain new insights. Spending time with loved ones is important to me, as it helps me feel grounded and supported.”

When not working, Nada enjoys spending quality time with her family. They share many activities together like making perfumes, baking, have game nights and watch movies together. They also enjoy outdoor adventures and camping.

With numerous goals she still strives to achieve, Nada continues to learn, grow and improve. “I aim to reach and positively impact a broader audience through my coaching services, potentially expanding into new geographical areas or offering specialized programs. I also strive to deepen my knowledge in areas like neuroscience, psychology, and organizational behaviour to enhance my coaching effectiveness and advisory skills continually.”

When asked, “What advice would you give to young women aspiring to be leaders in their fields?” Nada emphasizes the importance of self-belief. “Believe in yourself. You have the power to create your own path and shape your future. Stay true to yourself, pursue your passions, and don’t let anyone else define your worth or capabilities. Don’t hesitate to speak up for your ideas, accomplishments, and ambitions. Be assertive in pursuing opportunities and advocating for your advancement. Continuously invest in your personal and professional development. Acquire new skills, pursue further education or training, and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.”
