Egypt’s Spring Flowers Exhibition blooms at Agriculture Museum

The 90th edition of the Spring Flowers Exhibition kicked off at Agricultural Museum in Cairo. It is the largest and oldest annual exhibition in the Arab region, which is held annually by the Ministry of Agriculture for 90 years.

 The idea of the Spring Flowers Exhibition began during the reign of Sultan Hussein in 1914 under the supervision of the Basateen Peasant Association. The exhibition was opened to the public in 1934 under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The exhibition features flowers and ornamental plants producers, nursery owners, landscape companies and modern irrigation systems will participate in the exhibition, as well as agricultural production requirements, as well as food outlets.

The month-long floral extravaganza is open daily from 9am to 9pm, with a ticket price of EGP 10 per person.
