With a mission to empower women in its community, Galleria 40, is hosting “The Power of Her- Women Across Industries” Event, under the auspices on the National Council for Women. The event is organized by Sixyards Sports & Event Management, in collaboration with Woman of Egypt Initiative.

This event comes within the framework of both visions and goals of the Egyptian State, empowering Egyptian women in various fields, aiming to represent its interest in sports, industry, and entrepreneurship.

The event will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, with the attendance of Dr. Maya Morsy, President of the National Council for Women; Dr. Lamia Kamel, Former Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities; Dr. Ghada Makady, Partnerships and Generation Unlimited Lead, UN; Dr. Marianne Azar, Board Member of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority; Randa Fouad, President of World Art Forum for Development; Members of the Parliament, and many distinguished guests.

“The Power of Her – Women Across Industries” Event includes panel discussions, free workshops and other activities. The event aims to empower Egyptian women, and highlight their role in society, by shedding light on their successes and achievements, in various fields. To accomplish that, Galleria40, through “The Power of Her- Women Across Industries”, is including 4 different panel discussions on the event’s agenda: for women entrepreneurs; for corporate executives; for government representatives; and for athletes and Olympic champions.

Many issues and topics of interest to women in all these fields and beyond will be presented and discussed, and different viewpoints will be heard, through the exchange of ideas and opinions from specialists in each field.

Egyptian women have pioneered and excelled in various fields, locally and internationally. They have been recognized and honored all over the world for their accomplishments and impact in their societies. The speakers will also talk about the challenges and achievements in their careers, to encourage other women to venture into business, industry, politics, sports, or other fields that are of interest to them, emphasizing that women can work in any field and carry out any task, just like men; The proof are the women attending the event, who have all achieved success in their various professions.

The event will also provide an opportunity for attendees to interact with each other and the speakers, exchange experiences and grow their network.

The organizers anticipate the event’s theme will attract both women and men, and the panel discussions will meet the expectations of the attendees, which will inevitably give them a chance to learn first-hand about the topics addressed.

To meet its goal of empowering women and enhancing their role in society, the event and workshops are offered free of charge.

“The Power of Her” by Galleria40 will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Galleria 40, Sheikh Zayed – Cairo, where its activities begin at 2:00 PM and end at 8:00 PM.
