Rania Abdalla Launches a Female Mentorship Program for Women in Middle East and Africa

Rania Abdalla, Founder and Managing Director of Aspire HR Consultants, launches a Female Mentorship Program for women in the Middle East and Africa. She announced the launch of the program during the symposium “A Success Story” held online on September 9th, 2020 to celebrate the Emirati Women’s Day.

The event was sponsored and attended by HH Sheikha Dr. Shamma Bint Mohammed Bin Khaled Al-Nahyan; Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khaled Al-Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions. The event was organized by Dubai Quality Group and moderated by Dr. Rita Younes. The trailblazing speakers talking about their success journey were Rania Abdalla, Dr. Maryam Matar, Amina Ahmed Mohamed, Amna Al-Jallaf.

The event highlighted the achievements of women in the United Arab Emirates with the aim to inspire women and pave the way for others to follow their footsteps, and achieve their personal and professional goals.

“I’ve always loved to enjoy the journey more than reaching the destination. This helped me develop my skills, set monthly goals and evaluate my achievements by the end of every month,” explained Rania during the event. “I am a big believer that we are all ‘work in progress.’”

Rania is excited to work with female leaders in the Middle East and Africa to support them in running companies and organisations efficiently and hone their leadership skills.

She is a graduate of the American University in Cairo majoring in Economics and a holder of a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management in Kingston Business School, UK.

Rania has more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources where she held senior managerial positions in Pepsico UK, UAE and Egypt prior to founding Aspire HR Consultants.

Rania was granted many global and regional awards; she was the “overall winner” of the Emirates Business woman Award – a prestigious award from HH Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoom. She also won the PepsiCo Chairman’s Award; granted by PepsiCo CEO in New York. She was awarded by director General of the UAE National HR Development Authority the Appreciation Award. Other awards include the Inclusion Award from PepsiCo Region’s President and the Star Award at PepsiCo Headquarters in the US.
