Egyptian women won 15 medals (4 gold, 2 silver, 9 bronze), in the Mediterranean Games that ended in Tarragona Spain today. In total, Egypt won 45 medals and ranked 5th.
1- Farida Osman
Swimmer Farida Osman won a total of 3 medals, 2 gold for 50 m freestyle and butterfly and one silver medal for 100 m butterfly.
2- Sara Samir
Weightlifter Sara Samir at 69kg, won 2 gold medals in the 105kg and 135kg category, where she also broke the world record in the later weight.
3- Nancy Taman
Nancy Taman won the gold medal in gymnastics
4- Dina Mesheref
Dina Mesheref won the gold medal for Table Tennis
5- Giana Farouk
Giana Farouk won a silver medal in Karate, 62kg category.
6- Radwa Reda
Radwa Reda won the silver medal in Taekwondo, 58kg category.
7- Heba Samir
Weightlifter Heba Saleh won the bronze medal in the women’s 48kg clean and jerk
8- Areej El Said
Areej El Said won the bronze medal in Karate
9- Afaf El Hodhod
Pistol shooter Afaf El Hodhod won the bronze medal
10- Samar Hamza
Wrestler Samar Hamza won the bronze medal in the 68kg category
11- Dina Barakat
Weightlifter Dina Barakat won the bronze medal in the 75kg category
12- Hedaya Malak
Hedaya Malak won the bronze medal in Taekwondo, 65 kg category
