Shirley Shalaby Nominated as the International Director of the Federation of Image Professionals International (FIPI)

After 30 years of experience in Modeling, coaching models, and Beauty Contestants, qualifying Image Consultants, conducting corporate workshops, boosting assertiveness, and mostly completing the project of writing three books, Shirley Shalaby has been nominated as as International Director of the Federation of Image Professionals International (FIPI).

FIPI, the Federation of Image Professionals International, unifies global image professionals, prioritizing excellence through elevated standards, education, and global industry awareness. This dedicated network emphasizes the significance of unity and education in advancing the field and ensuring a lasting impact on the industry’s future.

In her new role, as an International Director for French and Arabic speaking countries, Shalaby will add to FIPI’s exposure by empowering it, enhancing its reputation and exposure as a definitive Hub for Global Experts in Image.

The Founder of Shirley Shalaby Academy, the very first Modeling and Finishing Academy in the Middle East; Shirley Shalaby has pioneered educational standards in the art of etiquette and image consulting in Egypt. A graduate of Cairo University’s Faculty of Arts in English Literature, she is the author of three books in Arabic and English, the Art of Etiquette, Beyond Charm and Timeless Beauty.

With background experience in the field of professional modeling and image building in Canada, the USA and the UK, she coached professional men and women as well as models on enhancing their image; including personality, deportment, social grace and personal appearance.

Back in Egypt, she founded En Vogue in 1990. Her first signature product was the Professional Modeling and Finishing Program that ran throughout the 90’s and into the 2000’s, whose alumni is among Egypt’s finest – TV personalities, actors and prominent entrepreneurs.

She has cooperated with local and multinational organizations, airline companies, five-stars hotels, as well as diplomatic missions and hospitals in standardizing their image and helping them build a successful corporate representation.

Shirley also launched the “Children’s Modeling and Savoir Faire” program in Egypt, designed for children and young teens between 6 and 18 years old, to develop children’s personality and communication skills, the program encompasses modeling, deportment, voice attractiveness, conversational skills, social dancing, arts and crafts and table manners over a hot meal.
